On January 4th the WECIC (Transgrad) offices have moved to there new home just off the Birmingham Road in Walsall. New offices means bigger and brighter things to come this year (2010). So keep it here for the latest and greatest from Wecic and Transgrad.
Over the last few months Transgrad have been working with different graduates from many different fields. While at Transgrad the opportunity was given to them to have there voices put across. Each graduate has a different story to tell, so check out the more option and have a listen to graduates experiences and how they have been able to build bonds and break barriers.
Over the last year or so jobs with in Graduate fields have seemed to dissapear as the ‘Economic Recssion’ continues. This is not just affecting graduates, it is effecting everyone in these hard times. The TransGrad graduates know exactly how this feels. Over the last few weeks the Graduates have teamed up from various fields in Media, Law,English, Psychology,Economics, Business and Commerce to create three videos giving advice on finding work. While the ‘Economic Recession’ continues the aim of these videos are there to help graduates find work, in various field of employement as skills learned are transferable.

On Wednesday 17th June 2009 Trangrad gave graduates from the United Kingdom and Europe the opportunity to work together and network on this evening. The aim to bring graduates and Students together was achieved and those who attended took part in the blogging activities. So check out the blogs by clicking the above link.

Over the last few weeks WECIC have been involved in running various Bite Size Courses. Allowing the local communities of Walsall the opportunity to have a taste of something new. These small Bite Size courses are only an hour long and allows people from all backgrounds the chance to try something new. Over the last few weeks WECIC have run courses in Photography, Computers for beginners, Sound Recording, Presentation Skills and Networking.
